CYBERBRITE De-Stain Solution for Tesla Cybertruck Exoskeleton

I had stubborn spots on my Beast from the winter.
I tried about 10 different cleaners with no luck. Even had a professional detailer (who also owns a Cybertruck) try several products he uses — still nothing.
I mentioned I had a bottle of Cyberbrite I hadn’t tried yet and asked if he’d use it. He did… and it cleaned and cleared every single spot.

This is the only product that actually worked. Highly recommend.

This stuff really works. Requires a few applications but removes most of the staining.

After reading everyone’s experiences and talking with Gary @CYBERBRITE1 , I finally tackled the CyberBrite application today. I figured I’d share exactly what I did and my results.

The night before:
* Foam cannon wash
* Contact wash
* Wipe dry and let the truck air dry overnight
I also had my garden hose connected to an RV-style water filter to help reduce mineral deposits.

This morning:
I started with Adams Iron Remover. I bought two bottles, which worked out great because my son helped. He covered the passenger side and rear while I did the driver’s side and front. Having a second person definitely speeds things up. Looking back, I should have sprayed the windshield and roof glass too. Oh well… next time.

I let the Iron Remover dwell for about 90 seconds, then misted a little more on any areas that looked like they were starting to dry. After that, I rinsed the truck thoroughly, did another contact wash to remove any remaining Iron Remover residue, dried it, and finished with a 99% IPA wipe on the stainless.

Next came CyberBrite.
Again, my son and I each took a side of the truck. We saturated the microfiber towels and applied the first coat, keeping the surface wet for about 10 minutes by adding product as needed. After 10 minutes, we switched to fresh towels and applied a second coat, again keeping everything wet for another 10 minutes.

One thing I noticed was how much black residue the towels picked up during the second application. The light gray towels Gary includes definitely showed just how much contamination was still being removed. We threw those away and used fresh towels for the second half of the application. Total product used was about 1¼ bottles.

After the full 20-minute application, we rinsed the truck thoroughly, foam cannoned it again, did one final contact wash, and dried it.

One thing worth mentioning because it caught me off guard…

After using Iron Remover and washing the truck, the stainless looked terrible. It had streaks everywhere, almost like something had run down the panels and stained them. I honestly thought I had made a mistake. Don’t panic. I trusted the process, applied CyberBrite, and every bit of that disappeared.

The end result was exactly what I was hoping for. The stainless has a much more uniform appearance with a brighter, cleaner, more even sheen. It also made the factory grain and finish more apparent, which I actually like.

One mistake on my part… I didn’t use a blower around the mirrors and trim after the final wash. After taking a short drive, a little leftover Iron Remover solution seeped out from behind the mirror housing and ran down the door. My heart sank thinking it had stained the panel. I grabbed a damp microfiber, wiped it once, and it came right off.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the results.

A huge thank you to Gary for answering all of my questions over the past week and standing behind his product. CyberBrite absolutely lived up to its claims on my truck, and I have no problem recommending it to other Cybertruck owners. 👍

I drive my Cybertruck in all weather conditions. The past two winters in the North East left a large array of deposits and stains all over. I tried the recommended cleaning method with CitriSurf77 and it seems to slightly work, but the stains and deposits remained. Enter Cyberbrite. This stuff is amazing. SO easy to use. Wash, Dry, apply, wait 10min, apply again, wait 10min, wash, dry and... deposits/stains are all but gone (I was a bit rushed). Highly recommend Cyberbrite. My back and arms aren't sore!

Only 4 stars because I thought it was more of a 1 or 2 time application to do a deep clean. I’m on my 4th application and had to order another bottle This should get it done. It does work and might work better on newer trucks with less staining. My truck is 2 years old and gets washed very often but had a very light bronze/titanium patina so 3-4 applications will get yours back to new.
